Tour Summary: Our flagship 8-night/9-day tour is aimed at the level 2 club/sportive rider who wants to challenge themselves whilst experiencing a tour that takes us deep into the culture and landscape of southern Spain. With Moorish castles, renaissance cathedrals and ancient cave dwellings this area is rich in history. Our stunning route takes us through a variety of natural parks to historic towns where a traditional Spanish welcome waits with local foods and wines to tempt us.
Tour highlights include:
A passage through numerous National & Natural Parks which offer both spectacle and diversity
A ride into the holy city of Caravaca de La Cruz and a stay in Monastery
The unique Cave-dwelling accommodation in Guadix
Explore Granada with the opportunity to climb the famed Sierra Nevada Mountain
The final sweeping descent into Malaga and a farewell evening dinner
Route: 615kms* (80-100kms a day and upto 1500m of climbing). *excludes the optional Sierra Nevada climb/descent.
Accommodation: Our 3*/4* half board accommodation options have been carefully hand-picked and ensure a cycle friendly welcome.
Pro-style Support: The EC team with support vehicle is on hand to ensure you can just ride, rest and relax.

Day 1: Meet at Murcia International Airport (RMU) with transfer to the Sierra Espuna Natural Park
Day 2: The ride starts on a high with a ride through the Sierra Espuna Natural Park and onto Caravaca de La Cruz
Day 3 Ride to Fatima via Sierra de Cobra and Castril Natural Parks
Day 4: Heads towards Torres-Jaen and the challenge of the Sierrra Magina Natural Park
Day 5: Sets off for Guadix and the cave-dwellings
Day 6: A morning ride to Granada and the option of the Sierra Nevada Mountain climb
Day 7: A steady roll out towards Alhama de Granada via the reservoir of Embalse de la Vinuela
Day 8: The final days ride into Málaga via the Montes de Malaga Natural Park
Day 9 - Scheduled transfer from hotel to Malaga airport
