The 41st edition of the race will take place in Feb 2021. This 2-day UCI race is used as an early season warm up for many pro teams and normally features local pro riders Alejando Valverde, Luis Leon Sanchez and Jose Joaquin Rojas. The region offers varied terrain including coastal roads, flat countryside and challenging mountains which includes the Sierra Espuna (1550m). There is plenty of opportunity for riders to absorb local Spanish culture whilst on the bike or enjoying the obligatory cafe stops along the way. Explore the town's urban art & end the ride with a wine tasting experience in a local bodega. Finally, Spain with on average 300+ days of sunshine a year, helps ensure the best cycling holiday experience. |
